Guidance from a Compassionate Trauma Counselor
Kendra has extensive expertise as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor, and Trauma Counselor, specializing as a Trauma Therapist with over two decades of clinical practice. She has dedicated herself to assisting a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
In 2006, Kendra founded Beyond Today Counseling Center, driven by a commitment to offer evidence-based counseling treatments to her community. Her holistic approach ensures that each individual’s multifaceted nature is honored and addressed during therapy.
Early in her career, Kendra gained invaluable clinical experience working in a therapeutic boarding school for adolescents with ODD, court-mandated addiction recovery, and domestic violence victims support groups. These formative years instilled a deep respect for human resilience and the courage it takes to seek change.
With a clinical focus on trauma, Kendra sees each client through the lens of their inherent strengths to overcome, grow, and prosper in daily life.
